This was the first time ive gotten a good company flat iron, before i had a conair. and it sucked it allways pulled at my hair and it took forever to heat up, it was to heavy and clunky.
But then i got the chi for my birthday, and i loveeee it, it doesnt pull at my hair, and it really light and smooth feeling,
I naturally have curly hair that doent do well with the out doors, but now my hair acually stays straight when i go outside. i loveeeeee my new chi

With some straighteners, you have to keep repeating on the same section of hair, however, with this product, it's very easy and gets perfect results first time.

I read all the reviews on all the different flat-irons before buying the Original Chi iron. I had one of the first ones out 9 yrs ago and loved it. I used it virtually every day for 9 years before it finally gave up on me. I thought long and hard about maybe buying one of the newer, fancier models, but on the new irons, there are more components that can break down, so I just went ahead and bought the original and I am happy I did. No problems with the Iron, If this one does not last another 9 years, I still would probobly buy this one again.
