I bought this at a friend's suggestion and LOVE it. I have never been able to dry my hair straight enough, but with this it's never a problem. I just blow dry my hair first, then add about a dime's size drop of Chi Hair Serum, pin up and then straighten in sections. I can't tell you the amount of compliments I've received since using this straightener.

I am glad I read the reviews and went with the original. I am not disapointed! I have fine thin hair and use my CHI nearly everyday. It has not damaged my hair at all. Great product!!!

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter. She absolutely loves it! She has thick hair and was using a lesser-quality hair iron. She was always frustrated standing in front of the mirror for several minutes trying to get her old iron to straighten her hair. I used to have ugly natural curly hair, it was very coarse and unmanageable. But things changed since my friend advised me to get a flat iron to solve the problem, Adjustable temperature as it has, I usually apply lower heat to straighten my hair in case I sear my hair. After a month's use, I found my hair became soft and shiny, and absolutely no frizz left on it, it's amazing, this flat iron made miracle happened. so I am really grateful to my friend and this Ceramic flat iron.

I love the Chi. It works perfectly. It took me awhile to learn how to straighten hair correctly, but now I can get it stick straight and super shiny quickly! I always use the Chi thermal protection spray first so the Chi doesn't damage my hair. It heats up really quickly. The only thing is be careful touching your hair while you're straightening because you can burn your hair.
