Chi flat iron is much better than a regular flat iron. It really does straightens the hair better. I first learned about the Chi from an advertisement on tv. However, I ... daughter's hair sometimes and she used her Chi flat iron and when I saw my daughter's hair it really liked as if she had just come from a professional beauty shop.

I have been using my flat iron for over four years and it has been very good to me and I haven't had to many problems. The only thing is that it's a little to wide and because me hair is to thin it gets caught where the handle clamps down and pulls my hair sometime.

i used to have a flat iron from target and i used it for about a year and my hair is not too fried... my aunt had this flat iron and shes had it for about two years and it was working VERY VERY well but recently the flat iron would turn on and off and you would have to turn the cord at thr right place for it to stay on. its kind of a pain but it still works when the cord is in the right place.
i was saving up for the blue and black tourmaline ceramic flat iron but my aunt sent her CHI one to me so i dont need the blue one anymore

LOVE IT
I borrowed a Chi from a friend years ago and loved it and since have loved it and refuse to use anything less than a Chi. Their dryers are great as well!
