For months I made 'do' with my $40 straightener trying to convince myself that it would be enough. I would see other women with perfect hair to find out they used a CHI. ...! everywhere I go. I have thick, wavy hair and it only took about 10 mins to iron it flat

This was the second time I had purchased this particular flat iron, as I chose to buy this as a birthday present for my daughter also. It is quite simply the best out there, and recommended and used by most hair stylists when you visit the salon. The Chi flat iron heats up quickly, maintains the temp well and does not burn your hair

The GHD glides through the hair very smoothly without snagging, and I like the fact that the heat automatically adjusts. This feature likely prevents the hair from being singed by too high heat.
