This is my first flat iron so I really don't have anything to compare it to but I am very happy with the iron. I got the same results with the Conair as the much more expensive brand my hairdresser uses. No frizz, love it!!

Okayy my mom had a chi and she absolutly loved it! I used it all the time but, just the other day her's just stopped working all together. She's very stubborn and wants a $200 flat iron all ceramic from the mall 4 christmas. if I don't give her a nice 1 then she will whine about it. I don't know what 2 do. They have a holiday special edition red chi on sale @ a salon/store I went 2 and bought it 4 her. Was that a good idea? I need suggestions on any flat irons because I need 1 to but that's in a price range of yes a 12 to 13 year old.

love my Chi ceramic flat iron! As a mom I don't have hours to style my hair and feel good... but now with this flat iron (and I also got the hair dryer) I can straighten/style my hair in 20 min (I have just over the shoulder length hair that's wavy). I want to add, I first learnt about Chi flat irons from my sister

did extensive research into which flat iron would be best for my hair and ended up picking between the chi and the sedu models. I originally went with the chi turbo - the results were great but the iron itself was very heavy and had a few parts that would pull out strands of my hair.
